Two young Itec learners who joined their local branch of the world’s biggest women’s health & weight loss franchise have been pronounced fit for work!
Jade Burnett, aged 19 and Chanelle Davies, aged 17, jumped at the opportunity to join the staff at Curves in Bridgend and help women of all ages get the best out of the 30-minute workout sessions which are producing great results.
Jade studied Business Administration with Itec before spotting the Curves vacancy on the Careers Wales website a year ago. She joined via the Welsh Government’s Jobs Growth Wales initiative, moved on to the Young Recruits scheme and will shortly complete her Level 2 in Fitness Instruction.
Chanelle originally focused on Childcare but hasn’t looked back since joining Curves on a work placement at the end of last year.
Jade and Chanelle are both working very hard to develop and acquire new qualifications and experience. Itec are grateful to employers like Curves for providing the opportunity for our learners to make something of themselves in the workplace.
